Send us the recordings of one sermon series. We write it in your voice, print it, and publish it, twelve weeks from your sermon links to the Sunday you hand it to your congregation. You never write a page.
You send recordings. We send back a book.
- I
You choose a series and send it to us.
Pick the sermon series you want as a book and send us the recordings: video, audio, a podcast feed or YouTube links. Not sure which one? On your first call, a publishing consultant goes through your archive with you and hands back a written chapter map.
- II
We write the book in your voice.
We transcribe every sermon in the series. One writer turns them into the manuscript from the first page to the last, so the whole book sounds like one person: you. Nothing is added to your message. We edit for the page, never the doctrine. Every scripture reference is checked against the translation you preach from.
- III
We publish it and put it to work.
We design the cover and the interior, then publish it in print and ebook on Amazon and every store. Add the Front Door: a link inside your book that sends every reader to its own website, a free chapter, and an email series that connects them to your church.

Years of preaching. Let it keep reaching.
Every Sunday you give the best hour of your week. It lands in the room, it lands online for a few days, and then it goes where sermons go: a folder on a hard drive, a playlist nobody scrolls back to.
The person who needs that series two years from now will never find it. The member who joined last month will never hear it. Your grandchildren will know you preached, and never read a page.
Your sermons are already chapters.
Every week you stand up and deliver a chapter-level argument. The research is done. The illustrations are tested. The message has been prayed over, prepared, and proven in a room full of people.

Bless more lives through His Word.
That is the whole idea behind this. The hardest part of any book is the words, and yours already exist. You just preached them instead of typing them.
Twelve weeks, from your sermon links to Launch Sunday.
Writing, editing, cover, layout, printing and Amazon are ours. Two moments are yours, five business days each, and you have both dates before we start.

Your short to-do list.
What is your book for?
Most pastors think of a book as legacy, and it is. The pastors who move fastest already know the job the book does the week it arrives.

The gift for first-time guests.
A book on the welcome table says more about your church in one object than a brochure ever will. And unlike a brochure, it goes home and stays there.

The text for your next class.
The series you preached to new members, to people exploring faith, or to your leaders becomes the thing you hand every one of them, without preaching it again.

The reach you cannot get from a pulpit.
It reaches the neighbor across town who would never walk into a church, handed to them by a friend who did. With the Front Door, a link inside the book gives them a way to take the next step with your church.

Will it still sound like me?
It is the question every pastor asks, and it is the right one.
Nothing is added to your message. Nothing is softened. What changes is only what has to change when a message stops being heard and starts being read: the callback to last week, the aside to the sound booth, the sentence that only worked because you paused before it.
That translation is the actual work. It is also the reason one writer carries your whole manuscript from beginning to end, instead of a team passing chapters around.

Same message. Built for the page.
If the manuscript does not read the way you preach, we rewrite it until it does. Every round, at no additional cost, for as long as it takes.

Three ways to publish a series.
Your book keeps working after everything else has finished. It is on the welcome table next January, it is the text for a class you run again in the spring, and it is in the hands of a family that hasn't walked through your doors yet. Pick how far you want it to go.

Pick the Sunday you hand it to your congregation.
Every start date counts back twelve weeks from your launch day. We set yours on the call.
| Your launch day | Start by |
|---|
Each start date is the launch day minus twelve weeks, the time from your sermon links to the Sunday you hand the book out.

Two guarantees. One honest limit.
In Your Voice.
If the manuscript does not read the way you preach, we rewrite it until it does. Every round, at no additional cost, for as long as it takes. Your side: each review back within five business days.
The Shelf Test.
Put your finished book next to any traditionally published title on the same shelf. If the editing, design or print does not hold up, we revise until it does. Every round, at no additional cost.
Six books a month.
Our capacity is six books a month, shared with Barker Publishing House. When a month fills, the next book waits for the next one. Book a call to see where yours would land.

A pastor built this. A publishing house runs it.
Bubba Jennings is the lead pastor of Resurrection Church in Tacoma and Gig Harbor, Washington, which he planted in 2015. He built this because he wanted it to exist for himself first, and Wholly Healthy, from a series preached at his own church, is the first Pulpit Edition.

Frequently asked.
Do I have to write anything?
No. You send recordings and you read two proofs. That is the entire ask.
Will it really sound like me?
One writer carries your whole manuscript, working from your own transcripts, so the voice stays the same from the first page to the last. You approve the draft before we lay out a single page. And if it does not read the way you preach, we rewrite it until it does, at no additional cost. See how a sermon becomes a page.
Couldn't I just do this with AI?
You could have a transcript in an hour and a draft by dinner. What you would have is a transcript with the ums taken out. A sermon is built to be heard once, in a room, with your face and your timing carrying half the meaning. On the page all of that is gone. Turning preaching into prose is the actual work: cutting the callbacks, replacing the room, building an argument that holds without your voice in it. We use every tool that makes the work faster. None of them is the writer.
Will you change my theology?
No. We edit for the page, never the doctrine. Nothing is added to your message, and every scripture reference is checked against your translation.
Who is actually going to buy it?
Your congregation first. Beyond that, the book does what a sermon cannot: it goes home with first-time guests, it becomes the text for a class, and it reaches people who found you online and will never visit. It is on Amazon and every store, and the Front Door gives it a website that brings readers back to your church.
What budget does this come out of?
That depends on the job the book does. Churches fund it from guest services, assimilation, outreach, discipleship resources or leadership development. Some have one member who believes in the outreach and funds it outright. The Board Brief is a one-page case for whoever approves it, and it comes with every book.
What about Bible quotations and permissions?
Every scripture reference is checked against your translation as part of the Scripture Citation and Permissions Check, which is included. Where a translation requires the publisher's written permission, we tell you before the manuscript ships.
How long does it take?
Twelve weeks, from the day you send your sermon links to the Sunday you hand the book to your congregation, printing included. You review twice: the draft with your cover concepts, then the layout with the final cover. Five business days each.
What does it cost?
It depends on the length of your series and how far you want the launch to go. You are billed on the finished word count, so a shorter series costs less. You get your exact number on the call.
Who owns the book?
You do. You keep 100% of your rights and 100% of your royalties.
Can my congregation buy copies in bulk?
Yes. The Full Launch includes your first print run at author-copy pricing and the bookstore table kit. Reorders are priced per run.
What if I only have audio, not video?
Audio is fine. So is a YouTube link, a podcast feed, or files from your church's media drive.
What if my series is only four messages?
Four messages usually makes a shorter book, which costs less, because you are billed on the finished word count. On the call we will tell you honestly whether it stands on its own or whether it belongs with another series.
What if I already have a finished manuscript?
We publish that too. Barker Publishing House carries three editions for a finished manuscript, and the call covers which one fits.
Is this Barker Publishing House?
Yes. Pulpit to Publishing is Barker Publishing House's imprint for pastors. The same team that has published more than 3,000 authors since 2018 writes, edits, designs, formats and markets your book.
What happens on the call?
Thirty minutes with one of our publishing consultants. We go through your archive, work out which series should be book one and what it is for, and give you a date and your price.
Two minutes, and you will know which series is book one.
Answer eight questions about your archive and we will rank your series, name the one to publish first, and show you the ones waiting behind it. No writing, no charge.
